2024 Lose To Win Challenge
Welcome to the Barnwell County Lose To Win Weight Loss Challenge! This challenge is designed to encourage our community to achieve healthier lifestyles through weight loss and wellness education. Over 16 weeks, participants will embark on a journey to improve their physical health, nutritional habits, and mental well-being. The goal is not only to lose weight but to gain valuable knowledge and habits that will foster lifelong health and wellness.
$2,500 total prize money to be given away.
Two winners of the challenge are the persons who achieve
(1) the greatest percentage of weight loss will win $500 and
(2) the most weight loss will win $500 by the end of the competition.
$1,500 will be given away through a raffle system to contestants that participate in HEALing Partners supported health workshops and physical activities. Contestants must be able to do in person weight in at the beginning and the end of challenge and weekly updates through text or email.

HEAL (Healthy Eating, Active Living)
HEAL (Healthy Eating, Active Living) focus can significantly improve chronic disease health outcomes by promoting lifestyle changes that target the root causes of many conditions. By encouraging a balanced diet and regular physical activity, HEAL initiatives can help manage, reduce, and even prevent the incidence of chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity, leading to improved overall health, enhanced quality of life, and a reduction in healthcare costs.
Access to Care
Access to care plays a crucial role in improving health outcomes for individuals with chronic diseases by ensuring timely and appropriate medical treatment, preventive services, and continuous management of their conditions. Enhanced access to healthcare services enables early detection, consistent monitoring, and effective management of chronic diseases, significantly reducing complications, improving quality of life, and increasing the likelihood of better long-term health outcomes.
Behavioral Health
